Request: Option to show only timer on screen while it is active #93

It would be nice to have an option that just shows the timer on screen, or as much of it as possible. Ideally, this could just have the timer shown. However it could just mean an option to hide buttons (like progress, community, etc) while timer is in progress.

I am glad to look into this. But what do you see the interface being like for pausing and ending a session?

I think Insight Timer has nailed the UX for this. When the timer starts, everything else is hidden. But tapping the screen toggles the hiding. The only possible issue is with discoverablity, but if you put the feature behind an option anyway, it could be documented beside the checkbox.

An alternative would be to just exempt the pause button from being hidden. Just hiding the other buttons would still be a benefit over the current interface
