Thanks for the suggestion. I can see benefits in enabling or disabling RAW HTML and will look into this. But I do not intend to make it possible to hide capcodes.

Regarding capcodes, as-is, you can only use them by making a raw post, right?

There might be some value in still letting staff use capcodes without their post having to be raw HTML. For instance, if you want to address someone else's post, you have to input the HTML manually for creating the reflink, and I believe that's totally non-functional (or at least extremely finnicky) when it comes to reflink hover previews as well.
