It has happened a couple of times now that threads get deleted from my instance. And heard it happened to another board owner at what seems to be the same time.
What could it be? Both baords running on flatfile mode and without much activity.

Are the threads actually disappearing from the database outright, or are they failing to generate? I've encountered the latter, though it's always fixed by a "Rebuild All".

Did some more testing. It seems that the new account system has a bug somewhere. Also define('TINYIB_MANAGEKEY', ''); should be kept off for now...when its on there is OFTEN an error saying that its the wrong key when trying to post.
I would highly suggest going back a few changes - the latest changes introduced a clear lack of reliability.

Okay now I think it was a fail to generate, there is a thread I think dissapeared though and I couldn't ask the other of the other board to try rebuilding before he deleted the board. So I still don't know if im crazy, threads fail to generate or they just disapear.
Will keep watching all my threads closely

I'd speculate that the posts are getting deleted by their creators. It wouldn't leave any entry in the modlog and it'd be gone from the database. And if "it happened to another board owner at what seems to be the same time", maybe it's the same author deleting their posts on both boards?

No since post deletion by user is disabled on my board and the post deleted on the other board was one made and stickied by the admin. I will close this for now.
